BRAND STORY
Geumseong (錦城),the old name for Naju
Geumseong Hoegwan takes its name from ‘Geumseong (錦城)’, the old name for Naju in Jeollanam-do. Geumseong was long known for its fertile land and abundant produce, and the prized Naju pears presented to the king were treated as something rare and precious.
Geumseong Hoegwan carries the value of those Naju pears into the present day. After long research we completed a house sauce made to bring the flavour of the meat to its fullest. Carrying the gentle sweetness and clean savouriness of Naju pears, it lets the meat's own character come through while adding depth.
The crown logo — the symbol of Geumseong Hoegwan — holds our intent to treat every single guest as an honoured one, and expresses a philosophy of wishing prosperity upon everyone who joins us.
We will keep offering every guest a taste, and a warm memory, they will not forget.
